How Mr Beast gets his audience to engage
At 26, Mr Beast oversees a content creation empire that may be worth over $1bn. Last week, a leaked production manual dropped on the internet – written by the social media star to guide his team – and it makes for fascinating reading. Apple’s psychology of presentation
As Apple’s iPhone 16 finally hit the shelves, many of us will be enjoying the satisfying ‘whoosh’ that comes from the air pocket drag of opening an iPhone box. And this attention to presentation and detail has been baked into its products from the start, as outlined in marketing principles written by Mike Markkula, Apple’s original investor and second CEO. “People DO judge a book by its cover, ” he says – read the brilliant original memo here.
Why constant learning is the key
Although founding and running JustFix keeps me pretty busy (okay, very busy), I’m a firm believer in constant learning. Stagnation comes from standing still. Inspiration comes from gaining knowledge and new skills. To that end, I attend several courses and seminars every year and recently enjoyed Fund Your Purpose, run by successful serial entrepreneur Peter Diamandis. Not all of it was revelatory, but there were enough nuggets in there to make it worth the time and expense of attending.

This cognitive bias cheat sheet has been read almost two million times and provides a great insight into how we make sense of the world and, crucially, how to identify bias blind spots that might be holding us back.
